Truck Rental Policies
- All trucks must be returned to the renting station.
- We rent trucks for the Greater Seattle area only (local).
- Local is defined as less than 50 miles from the store location.
- No trucks are allowed east of the Cascades.
- Trucks are due back by the time and date specified on the contract.
- Overtime charges can be as high as $20 per half hour.
- All authorized drivers must be 21 or older and carry a valid driver's license.
- Per Washington State law, all drivers must have personal insurance.
- All drivers must carry proof of insurance.
- We do not offer liability insurance.
- We offer a collision damage waiver that covers the rental truck only (in the event of an accident involving another vehicle).
- The collision damage waiver is not liability insurance.
- The customer is liable for all damage to the rental truck if it strikes overhead or stationary objects.
- All traffic violations are the responsibility of the renter.
- All tolls are the responsibility of the renter.
- Mileage readings are taken from the factory-installed odometer.
- Mileage rates do not include gasoline.
- Trucks are full of fuel upon pickup and must be returned full of fuel.
- A fuel receipt is required upon return.
- The fuel receipt must show the gallons of gas (not just a prepay receipt).
- Trucks returned without a fuel receipt or with a prepay receipt will be charged a $10 minimum service fee plus any additional fuel needed.
- All trucks and equipment must be returned clean. Cleaning fees may be added if not returned clean.
- Trucks shall not be used in parades or to carry persons outside of the passenger compartment.
