Truck Rental Policies

• All trucks must be returned to the renting station.
• We rent trucks for the Greater Seattle area only (local).
• Local is defined as less than 50 miles from the store location.
• No trucks are allowed east of the Cascades.
• Trucks are due back by the time and date specified on the contract.
• Overtime charges can be as high as $20 per half hour.
• All authorized drivers must be 21 or older and carry a valid driver's license.
• Per Washington State law, all drivers must have personal insurance.
• All drivers must carry proof of insurance.
• We do not offer liability insurance.
• We offer a collision damage waiver that covers the rental truck only (in the event of an accident involving another vehicle).
• The collision damage waiver is not liability insurance.
• The customer is liable for all damage to the rental truck if it strikes overhead or stationary objects.
• All traffic violations are the responsibility of the renter.
• All tolls are the responsibility of the renter.
• Mileage readings are taken from the factory-installed odometer.
• Mileage rates do not include gasoline.
• Trucks are full of fuel upon pickup and must be returned full of fuel.
• A fuel receipt is required upon return.
• The fuel receipt must show the gallons of gas (not just a prepay receipt).
• Trucks returned without a fuel receipt or with a prepay receipt will be charged a $10 minimum service fee plus any additional fuel needed.
• All trucks and equipment must be returned clean. Cleaning fees may be added if not returned clean.
• Trucks shall not be used in parades or to carry persons outside of the passenger compartment.
